AM/HR
A Modified / Hot Rod
2001 Australian Modified Champion
KLRC car number 67

Lawrence "Laurie" Moore purchased a chassis from KLRC and purchased a reject
body from our 27 roadster mold and rebuilt it. Then he mounted the body and did all the
finish work. This is a very fine example of what a home builder can do when he puts his
mind to it. The complete running gear is out of his old altered. This car is a perfect
example of what can be done on a budget.

Laurie used to do all the driving but in the last few years son Rodney has been doing more
and more. Rodney is quite a good driver often going to the finals and was the Willowbank
track champ runner up last year to Graeme Frawley (KLRC car 65).

Laurie built this car to be very consistent on any race track so he can go to any regional
track and put the car to the finish line consistently.

This is the view most competitors see at the finish line.
This is the view Rod's girl friend has to look at.

Rod cut his long hair into a flame pattern to show his commitment to his challange for the
Australian Championship titles. It seemed to work as he is the 2001 Australian Modified
Champion.
Congratulations to Rodney Moore from all of the KLRC family.
