Graeme Frawley
A/MD

A Modified Dragster

KLRC car number 64

HOME

Graham is a three time Willowbank Modified track champion. In the last four years the only time Graham has not won the track championship was when David Mullins (car 49) won it on his rookie year. The fields of Modified Eliminator cars at Willowbank are very tough racers, winning a single round can be an accomplishment and winning championships is a major accomplishment. In some classes of Championship Drag Racing winning is based on how much money you spend, this is not the case here. Modified is based on how good a racer you are and Graham Frawley is a good racer. He spends his money carefully and his investment in his KLRC car has paid off. Graham's car is a 226" KLRC XD chassis custom built to win in DYO racing . Graham and his father Bob run a engine rebuilding business in Redcliff near Brisbane. Their powerful and reliable small block has run a 8.56 but they have calmed it down to consistently run 8.80's. Graham and the car never varies more than a hundredth of a second or two during qualifying and coupled with his dead consistent reaction times in the .400's makes this a tough combination to beat.

I wonder why this guy is smiling? Does he know he will become the 2000 Willowbank Track Champion and get the Winternationals Best Engineered Award and the Willowbank 2000 Best Appearing Award as well.

It only takes a quick look to see that Graham is very serious about winning if you just look inside the car.

The quick and reliable Frawley power plant. If you would like Bob and Graham to do the engine in your race car email them at nitro@ats.com.au

At KLRC we can build a good car that is fast, reliable and everything fits properly but it always nice to see when a member of the KLRC family takes their new family member home and makes it look this good.

Now I have a question...... Bob, what was that I heard about you guys becoming a two car family??

Do I like to start rumors or what???!!!

Web surfers, can come back here later and see if it is true??

As of early November 2000 Graham told me that they had engough stuff to put another car together... so why not. It looks like Grahams dad will be driving the second car.
