Tony Buckley A/D

500 Cubic inch big block Chevy. Big Chief cylinder heads. Two 1550
Dominators with extensive reworking are sitting on a custom Pro Stock sheet metal
manifold. This photo has the "old" Pro Stock scoop but the car currently
has a KLRC Speed scoop. 5 stage dry sump oil system makes sure the parts continue to go
around and around. L&T 8" triple disk clutch, currently with a Lenco 3
speed trans but a air shifted Liberty 4 speed twin countershaft trans is on order. This
car leaves the starting line at 7500 rpm and makes the gear changes at 9800 rpm.
Tony Buckley car tour.

On the starting line at Willowbank at the first day of testing.

Car interior while under construction. Notice the adjust-a-rail pedal assembly with the
clutch pedal. The brake handle is on the right by the seat. The shifter buttons are on the
dashboard on the right. The dashboard cover is removable with just 4 dzus buttons. If you
look closely you will see the seat belt hooks on the front seat uprights.

The "crotch" dash that goes between your legs provides an additional place to
install gauges and install switches that are easy for the driver to reach. The handle on
the left is for the transmission reverser.

The floor pan is a two piece unit which makes it easy to remove while the car is assembled
making it easier to work on the car.

Throttle pedal with a toe hook. You can see the throttle pedal travel stop assembly which
can move forward or backward to allow the pedal to be readjusted to suit different
drivers. This allows the driver to place the pedal where it is the most comfortable as
well as makes the car mover valuable if you ever want to sell it because the car now fits
more different potential buyers.

In this photo you can see the two piece floor pan and the clutch pedal with the streamline
foot pad.

Internal view of the computer access door and the computer mounting tray, also the CO2
bottle mount. Mounting the access door is done with a specially made tool that puts a
recess in the panel so the outside of the access door is flat.

Some cars use a front mount battery box show here.
Dry sump oil resivour and 5 stage oil pump mounting with dual oil filters. Notice the fuel
tank in front of the safety plate.
