Owner: David Mullins
Driver : David Mullins
Race number : 811
KLRC Car Number : 49
Class : A/MD
HOME
This is what David's car looked like when he took delivery of it from Ken Lowe Race Cars.
It is a 226" wheel base chrom moly chassis. It has Carbon Kevlar nose and seat. The
KLRC adjust- a- rail pedal assembly was installed so his wife could drive it. Well, maybe
someday!

David put his 357 Ford Cleveland/Powerglide trans in the car with a Bugcatcher hat fuel
injection on a tunnel ram manifold.
David painted, annodized and assembled the car for its debuet season in 1998 and David won
the Willowbank track championships in his "rookie" year.
Never afraid to give the car what it needs to win the race David lets the little Ford
scream for mercy.

If you get to see this car up close in person you will see the detail it has been finished
in and really appreciate a good looking car.

Car has run a best of 8.48 but David has "dialed it back" for consistency. It is
usually a 8.75 performer. KLRC made the engine plate adapter that couples the Powerglide
to the Ford 351 Cleveland. One of the benefits of the adapter is that the starter is moved
to the left side of the engine which allows a full kick out pan to be used which makes
more horsepower.
