You get to drive a fully outfitted race car that competes in regular event competition. This race car is equipped with all the best race parts available and has all the power needed to win.
Small classes ensure you get more attention and a higher quality of instruction. The Drag Race School car is available to Drag Race School graduates for use in any sanctioned drag race event.
Drag Race School classes are held in the corporate suites at the best race track in Australia and one of the best in the world - Willowbank Raceway , just west of Brisbane.
This is the real thing in a real race car, This car weighs 725 kilograms and has a 630 kilowatt engine that goes 0-100 in 1.2 seconds. Nothing on the street even comes close.
Anyone can learn how to be a winning driver. Being naturally talented only gives you a leg up in the beginning, once you learn the correct way from the start then even a natural born driver cannot do better than you can.
Everyone has heard the phrase "Practice makes perfect", well this is only partially true. You can practice the incorrect way; at the Drag Race School we show you the correct way the first time. If you practice the correct way you will achieve the desired results. Unfortunately practicing the incorrect way only reinforces bad habits and makes it harder to learn the correct way.
The standard two day
“Safety and Control Licensing Course” only $2895.00 AUD
Standard Packages require minimum of 2 clients
and a maximum of 3 clients per session.
One on One sessions are available at additional cost.
The advantage of One on One is ease of scheduling. All
we need is available date from Willowbank and meeting your schedule since we
don’t have to organize around someone else’s schedule.
(ANDRA approved Unlimited Drivers License)
The Drag Race School program
is the only sanctioning body approved school program in the world.
2 days - Full tutoring and 4 runs in the car.

Ken Lowe Drag Racing School Gets The
Green Light It was recently confirmed that The Ken Lowe Drag Race School program has become an ANDRA approved drag race licence training program, after ANDRA’s National Control Council endorsed the well-established programs on offer at the Queensland-based school. The Safety and Control Course can assist a new racer to become skilled and competent for ANDRA Championship competition with the Ken Lowe Drag Racing School training from entry level to right through to ANDRA’s Professional categories. The Drag Race School has assisted hundreds of new drivers over the last 10 years. Ken himself has a massive 45 years of experience in racing and building race cars and has amassed three personal Championships as well as many Championships for his clients. Home of the Drag Race School
Located on the return road near the race track finish line the Willowbank
Scrutineering
Shed (Tech area) has 2 sets of scales in the two far right lanes to speed up the
scrutineering job and the racer gets to the starting line quicker. At large events like
the Winternationals hundreds of race cars and tow cars fill the 7 lanes leading to the
scrutineering bays which removes the traffic jam in the pits. The table on the right of
the photo is where the drivers and crew turn the
gate tickets into arm bands for the starting line. A selection of Willowbank Championship
sponsors stickers are also available there as well.
